Week 5
Weekly Greetings!
I hope you all enjoyed the four-day break, and that you have been successful with the fall moose harvest. With a short three days last week, we spent some time doing review work but will press full on this week.
Probably the only real highlight from our short week was the pep rally on Friday afternoon to announce the start of Volleyball season. The third through fifth grade classes attended in their pod groups and watched the serving contest. Everyone was invited to compete from each grade in attendance, but I could not get any fourth graders to try...Even so, I think everyone enjoyed the event.
The MAP testing window opens this week, but with the long weekend and hunting season, I will wait for the following week to test. It is always important to have your child well rested and on time, but especially when we have to do these standardized tests. Most of the students made good gains last year, and I am hoping to keep that momentum going this year.
Have a wonderful week!
