Week 25

 Weekly Greetings!

It was nice to have some warmer weather and get the students outside for recess again. Hopefully, it will remain warm enough to do the same this week. Please make sure your child has all their winter gear with them on Wednesday, as we will be doing a special snow activity outside with a team from UAF. Another special event going on this Tuesday is the district Science Fair. There are six students from the fourth grade with projects to enter. They have been a part of the Science Fair Preparation Pod this quarter. The informational boards will be on display after 9am, and their projects will be taken up at 12:30pm when the judges will be doing interviews.

As for last week, we have been studying the Solar System in Science and each student made a simple model.
On Wednesday, we went to learn about characteristics of caribou with Tim Lorenzini from the Tetlin Refuge.  The students seemed very interested and even got to help out with the dissection.
Not much else for this week. Have a great week!
